The U.S. spends twice as much as other industrialized nations on healthcare yet it leaves 47 million people without health coverage. Every American should have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare and a single-payer system is the only way to ensure this happens. We must replace the current patchwork healthcare system comprised of for-profit payers with a single-payer national health program now.
